FoxyTunes is a super useful extension for Firefox and Internet Explorer that lets you control the most basic functions of your favorite media player without having to leave your browser.

The program installs a toolbar on the bottom part of your browser. You can control what's playing really easily from here.

FoxyTunes is compatible with both online and offline players. Its latest version also lets you control what's playing on YouTube. These are the services it currently supports: FoxyPlayer, iTunes, Last.FM, Pandora, Rhapsody Online, Xbox Media Center, and YouTube, as previously mentioned.

The name of the file or the URL that's currently playing will be displayed on the toolbar. You can get more information about the file and even the album art if it's a music file.

FoxyTunes also includes access to custom searches when you use FoxyPlanet.
